Version 1 up to 11/94, ![]() ![]() Driver's door The central locking can always be operated when the driver's door is closed. Key, (turn right to stop to lock, turn left to stop to unlock). The vehicle unlocks centrally when the handle in the door liner is pulled, when it was locked previously with the CL interior switch. Passenger door The central locking can be operated from the locked or unlocked passenger door with the key or the handle in the door liner (as on driver's door). Trunk lid The central locking can be operated with the key when the trunk lid is open or closed. Unlocking: Turn key to left to stop and remove in vertical position. |
Locking:
Turn key to right to stop and remove in vertical position. Additional securing: Turn key to right to stop and pull out in horizontal position. The trunk lid then remains locked even when the doors are unlocked centrally. Note When the vehicle is locked centrally and the trunk lid is unlocked all doors and the tank flap are also unlocked. It is then necessary to relock the vehicle centrally after closing the trunk lid. Emergency unlocking tank flap When the central locking fails the tank flap can be unlocked manually with a red emergency unlocking button on the tank flap element. |
Version 2 as of 12/94, except ![]() ![]() The central locking, the ATA and the convenience feature can only be operated with the infrared remote control for central locking from outside. Note It is possible to secure the trunk lid additionally by removing the mechanical key in the horizontal position. If the vehicle is unlocked with the RCL the trunk lid still remains locked mechanically. Emergency unlocking tank flap When the central locking fails the tank flap can be unlocked manually with a red emergency unlocking button on the tank flap element. |
