The vehicle can be locked and unlocked with the remote control key. There are two modes for the unlocking function: "Global unlocking" and "selective unlocking". In the "global unlocking" mode all doors, the tank flap and the trunk lid or tailgate are unlocked. In the "selective unlocking" mode only the driver's door and tank flap are unlocked. The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is deactivated in both modes. The vehicle can be unlocked by pressing the "unlock" button on the remote control key. The mode can be set on the remote control key. The "selective unlocking" mode is set at the factory. Successful execution of this function is indicated by the turn |
signals flashing once.
If the "unlock" button on the remote control key is pressed again following "selective unlocking" the vehicle is unlocked "globally". The locking function can be started by pressing the "lock" button on the remote control key. All of the locking points are locked and the ATA is activated. Successful execution of this function is indicated by the turn signal lamps flashing three times. |
