GF82.20-P-2006A Switching on interior lighting with central locking feature, function 15.12.96

MODEL  202 as of 1.6.97

When the vehicle is locked or unlocked with the central locking feature the interior lighting is switched on if the door contacts are activated by the door contact on/off switch (N70s3). The overhead control panel control module (N70) controls the switch-on time. The entrance/exit lamps are controlled by the associated door control modules, the front dome lamp (N70e1) by the overhead control panel control module (N70) and the rear dome lamp (E15/3) (not on model 208.4) by the PSE control module (combined, A37).
On models 202.07/08/18 the PSE control module also controls the trunk lamp (E18/1), on model 210.2 the D-pillar interior lamps (E25/3, E25/4).
The table indicates how the lamps in the vehicle interior react when the central locking is actuated. Door in first catch position means that the door contact is not yet actuated.
