GF82.30-P-3001A Function of rear window intermittent wiping 14.12.96

MODEL  202.07 /08 /18 as of 1.6.97

The function of the rear window intermittent wiping feature is switched on by pressing the rear wiper switch (S6/1s4) up. The signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) transmits a CAN message to the PSE control module (combined) (A37) approximately every 5 seconds. Moreover, the SAM switches on the LED in the switch as long as the function is active. The PSE
module starts the rear window wiper motor (M6/4) for one wiping operation via the relay following each CAN message. Pressing the switch again switches off the function.
A relay circuit in the wiper motor ensures that the wiper stops in the off position.
