If this messages is not received after 30 s, the status indicator in the EMERGENCY CALL system pushbutton switch (S93/3) comes on and the error is entered into the DTC memory. However, later incoming readiness messages are accepted and the status indicator goes out again. After the readiness message is received the E-CALL control module (A35/8) awaits an additional readiness confirmation every 500 ms. If this message is not received for longer than 3 s, the status indicator in the EMERGENCY CALL system pushbutton switch (S93/3) comes on and the error is stored in the DTC memory of the E-CALL control module (A35/8) . An EMERGENCY CALL is automatically triggered when two crash messages are received in sequence by the E-CALL control module (A35/8) .
If a crash message is received once no EMERGENCY CALL is actuated. ![]() The E-CALL control module (A35/8) is capable of diagnosis. With "circuit 15R: ON" the E-CALL control module (A35/8) should not be rotated in the longitudinal or lateral plane. |
